Twothings you have wrong are: 1) Centre spring settings. If you look over at the official forums you will see the devs state that you shouldn't enable centre spring because the game does it and that setting in the logitech profile causes issues. 2) Allow game to adjust settings. You should have it ticked.

Ifyou have the budget, a wheel would be best. I’d recommend the Logitech G27 as they are fairly cheap nowadays and still very high quality. You can play with a controller but it’s not the best experience you can get. AC is too hard with a controller. You need a wheel.
