On default, it's set that if you let off the gas and get back on it, it will throw you into a drift when cornering. Most people probably wouldn't mind this, but I found that I was drifting at times where I really didn't want to.
Unbound is better because it has more fun boosting mechanic (burst nitrous), better graphics, campaign has more length to it and the races requiring you to have a car of a specific tier which forces you to try out and use new cars rather than just sticking to one or two cars for the whole playthrough.
